Hello mentees,

I prefer to be called Rob, and have been on the academic track for the past five years, a recurring time frame to complete a Bachelor's Degree. I have worked for the better part of 25 years in different venues of employment, and try to keep a realistic attitude in most situations.

I began with seeking a double major in community college working on a pre-major A.A. in Information Technology and an A.S. degree in Technical Customer Service. I may acquire additional Bachelor's Degrees or go after a graduate degree depending on the twists of fate and pragmatism of reality. I transfered to UCF with the intent of achieving my Bachlor's Degree in I.T. with a hardware focus from my ending selection of classes. Following a confrontation bent on claiming an I.T. degree was the same as a C.S. degree, I re-evaluated my academic direction and chose the Interdisciplinary Studies program as the best alternative to maintain the date of graduation that I had set before myself.

My plans are entering back into the I.T. field with the potential of international travel or escalate from a part-time employee to a full-time employee, where I am currently working. There are many things which we can discuss, and I look forward to thought provoking exchanges for broadening our horizons.
